Hand Forged Finery Returns Policy
Hand Forged Finery crafts each piece individually. The handcrafted nature of our artisan jewelry makes our refund and exchange policy different from what is purchased in a chain store. Each purchase's return eligibility varies based on how a piece was designed and purchased.
◇Studio Designed Pieces
Refunds are accepted for studio designed pieces within 14 days of the original purchase date, not the date of contact.
To be eligible, the piece must be returned in its original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
◇Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Custom, made-to-order, resized, or otherwise modified pieces are not eligible for refund.
These pieces may be approved for exchange or store credit only, at the sole discretion of Hand Forged Finery.
◇Earrings
Earrings may be eligible for return under the studio designed policy if returned within 14 days of the original purchase date and in original condition.
All returned earrings will be sanitized upon receipt before any further handling or reissue.
◇Damaged or Defective Items
If a piece is believed to have a workmanship defect, the client must provide clear photos or a short video showing the issue.
If the claim is approved as a workmanship issue, the remedy will be replacement only. Refunds will not be issued for workmanship claims.
◇Shipping Damage
All shipments require insurance. If damage occurs during transit, the client must consult the courier directly to pursue a claim.
Free shipping offers or promotional shipping do not include insurance automatically. If one of these shipping options is selected, insurance must still be purchased before the order can move forward.
◇Return Shipping
If a workmanship issue is confirmed, Hand Forged Finery will cover return shipping.
For all other approved returns or exchanges, return shipping costs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
◇General Notes
Handcrafted variation is part of the nature and beauty of artisan jewelry and is not considered a defect.
Hand Forged Finery reserves the right to refuse a return, refund, exchange, or store credit request that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
