Decades before Hand Forged Finery existed, Kelley was collecting stones from creek and river beds, searching for the prettiest stones she could find — fascinated by the individuality of each stone uncovered.
Years later, that fascination evolved into a deeper appreciation for material and form — the texture of raw copper, the glow of moonstone, the quiet fire hidden inside an opal. Each material holds its own character, imperfections, and presence.
That fascination eventually became the foundation of Hand Forged Finery — an atelier devoted to artisan-crafted jewelry shaped slowly and intentionally by hand.
She ensures every piece begun at her bench is guided by process rather than production. Drawing from an engineering mindset and a designer’s eye for balance and restraint, Kelley creates jewelry that feels deeply personal, tactile, and enduring.
No two pieces are ever exactly alike. They aren’t meant to be.
Hand Forged Finery was built on the belief that jewelry should hold meaning long after it is first worn — becoming part of a memory, a milestone, or simply the quiet confidence of everyday ritual.
