A Forged Orgin: Our STory

Decades before Hand Forged Finery existed, Kelley was collecting stones from creek and river beds, searching for the prettiest stones she could find — fascinated by the individuality of each stone uncovered.

Years later, that fascination evolved into a deeper appreciation for material and form — the texture of raw copper, the glow of moonstone, the quiet fire hidden inside an opal. Each material holds its own character, imperfections, and presence.

That fascination eventually became the foundation of Hand Forged Finery — an atelier devoted to artisan-crafted jewelry shaped slowly and intentionally by hand.

She ensures every piece begun at her bench is guided by process rather than production. Drawing from an engineering mindset and a designer’s eye for balance and restraint, Kelley creates jewelry that feels deeply personal, tactile, and enduring.

No two pieces are ever exactly alike. They aren’t meant to be.

Hand Forged Finery was built on the belief that jewelry should hold meaning long after it is first worn — becoming part of a memory, a milestone, or simply the quiet confidence of everyday ritual.

Introducing Gracie, a 10-year-old, Beaweenie (50% Beagle, 50% Dachshund) and HFF’s Barketing Director. Grace expertly converts everyone she comes into contact with our customer – before they even know it. She doesn’t need words to convey her authenticity; Gracie communicates it through her charm, tenacity, loyalty and intelligence.

Meeting her is easy. Just come to one of our events when the temperature is mild and the sun is shining! Don’t worry about finding her though. She’ll find you right quick and in a hurry using her keen Beagle-senses and innate Doxie instincts instead!

Gracie has another, more important job. She’s a registered therapy dog for children under 12 with cancer. Her mission is to encourage the kids under her watch to giggle, smile and feel insanely loved. Most importantly, Grace affords these very special children the ability to forget their physical pain; even if it’s just for an hour or two. She’s one incredible pup and 100% irreplaceable.
